- Copy and paste into the HTML page.
- Click on the </> Get Embed Code
- In the form select your license and click on the Update Preview button.
- Click on the dropdown button at Application -> select “live” -> Wowza Player and click the Launch Player Builder button or https://player.wowza.com/ and login with your Wowza account.
- We have built Wowza Player in the SCP Admin Tool, you need to enter your license code in App-Settings -> Links and websites.
Wowza Player (optional)
Type your information such as Name (optional), Type is “Streaming”, IP address is “*” for all IPs, port 8443 (you can customize your port number but I use 8443 like ssl port 443. Some like 4443 for example. It depends on you but remember that you should create (open) this port in Firewall).
Click the button “Add Host Port”
Go to menu Server, and click Virtual Host Setup at the left menu.
Streamlock
- In the address bar of the browser you type [your server IP]:1935 and enter.
- Finally click on the Save button.
- Streaming File Directory *: your directory to save ambient files.
- Click the checkbox as bellow:
- Click the Edit button.
- The Ambient Voice Recording is using live application, please click on “live”
A vod streaming application is also preinstalled with Wowza Streaming Engine. Simply copy video files to the Wowza Streaming Engine content directory to stream out via a VOD application.

- By default the Wowza will create 2 applications are: live (LIVE APPLICATIONS) and vod (VOD APPLICATIONS)

- In the form please enter the “Source User Name” and the “Source Password” and click the Add button.
- Click the Add Source button.
- Click the Home navigation and choice Source Authentication.
Source Authentication
- For example: your domain name is “ambienrecord.secondclone.com” and server IP is “40.114.115.193”, you want to use the domain instead of your server IP. You need to map a domain name to your server IP in the Domain Registrar's Admin Tool.
- Config ambient in the Admin Tool
- If you have configured your media server with an SSL certificate, you can select either HTTP or secure HTTP streaming (HTTPS) versions of your published stream playback URLs in the Select a playback URL list. Wowza provides free 256-bit SSL certificates to users with Perpetual and Subscription licenses via the Wowza StreamLock™ AddOn
- For example: if Cpanel has a scheme of HTTP then it works with Wowza Player with the source URL: http://ambientrecord.secondclone.com:1935, but it's HTTPS, Wowza Player doesn't work.
- Please login with URL is “https://www.wowza.com/portal/account” and click on the StreamLock tab.
- In the StreamLock form you need input your license, IP address (your server IP), Certificate Password, Confirm Password and click on the “Apply for SSL Certificate”
- When completed please download the certificate file.
- Copy and paste the certificate file into the Wowza installation directory, my Wowza installation directory: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Wowza Media Systems\Wowza Streaming Engine 4.7.8\conf”
- Please wait a moment (maybe 5-60 minutes, because Wowza provider automatically maps
Wowza subdomain to my server IP) and use CMD tool to ping your wowza domain in this case, it is “5dfc3c97994ca.streamlock.net”.
- Go to Virtual Host Setup and click the Edit button.
- Click the “Add Host port...” button
- In the “Add a new host port” dialog, enter name (your optional name), type is “Streaming”, IP Address is “*”, port is “4443”, click on the “Enable SSL/StreamLock” checkbox.
- Keystore Path: ${com.wowza.wms.context.VHostConfigHome}/conf/[your certificate file].jks
- The password of the certificate file.
- My example: ${com.wowza.wms.context.VHostConfigHome}/conf/5dfc3c97994ca.streamlock.net.jks
- Click the Add button and Save button to finish.
- Click the Restart button to restart the Wowza service.
- Please wait a moment (maybe 5-10 minutes), in the Wowza installation directory goto log (my installation directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Wowza Media Systems\Wowza Streaming Engine 4.7.8\logs) folder and check the line below:
- In the address bar of the browser enter the URL: https://5dfc3c97994ca.streamlock.net:4443
- In the SCP admin tool go to App-Setting -> Links & Websites
- Notes: all you need to do in this section is that after the configuration is completed, please wait patiently. Wowza may take a few minutes to configure.
